Regular general meetings of the Kenya Quilt Guild are held on the third Thursday of every month except August and December. Monthly meeting dates for 2012 are planned as follows:
- January 19
- February 16
- March 15 (Annual General Meeting)
- April 19
- May 17
- June 21
- July 19
- September 20
- October 18
- November 15
Monthly meetings are held at Shalom House off Ngong Road just past The Junction Shopping Centre. Meetings open at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am start, and generally run until lunchtime.
Visitors may attend up to 3 meetings gratis before being expected to join the Guild.

I am moving to Kenya with my husband in about five weeks. I am so thrilled to find a quilt guild in Kenya as my husband had told me that there isn’t any quilting there. Thank you for being. We will arrive in Kenya on April 16 and I will plan to attend either the April or May meeting. Again, I look forward to the opportunity to meet quilters in Kenya!

Hello – have just ‘registered’ on your blog. It is amazing and so organised. Have recently started a quilting/patchwork group (SEASIDE QUILTERS) in my home town, Fish Hoek, South Africa and look foward to receiving the updates. I would be delighted to host any of your members at our monthly meeting should they be in Cape Town on holiday.
